2024 3rd International Conference on Energy, Power and Electrical Technology (ICEPET 2024) wrapped up successfully in Chengdu

2024 3rd International Conference on Energy, Power and Electrical Technology (ICEPET 2024) was successfullyconvened in Chengdu from May 17th to 19th, 2024. Technically underpinned by IEEE andhosted byXihua University, the conferencewitnessed collaborative efforts from variousorganizers, including the School of Energy and Power Engineering, the School of Electrical Engineering and Electronic Information, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xihua University,as well asthe Key Laboratory of Fluid and Power Machinery of the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Fluid Machinery and Engineering of Sichuan Province,the Research Center for Hydroelectric Power and Power Equipment Technology in Sichuan Province, and the Academic ExchangeInformationCenter(AEIC). Additionally, invaluable support was extended by co-organizers such asthe University of Guelph in Canada,the Sichuan Society for Electrical Engineering, Jinjiang College of Sichuan University, theAssociation ofChengdu Power Industry, the Sichuan Electric Power Association, Qinghai University of Technology (in preparation), Chengdu Zheshengjia Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Concept Verification Center (New Energy System Intelligent Technology Industry Field).

2024年5月17日至19日,2024年能源、电力与电气国际学术会议(ICEPET 2024)在成都成功举办。此次会议由IEEE提供技术支持,西华大学主办,西华大学能源与动力工程学院、西华大学电气与电子信息学院、西华大学航空航天学院、流体及动力机械教育部重点实验室、流体机械及工程四川省重点实验室、四川省水电能源动力装备技术工程研究中心、AEIC学术交流中心等承办单位共同筹办。会议还得到了加拿大奎尔夫大学、四川省电机工程学会、四川大学锦江学院、成都电力行业协会、四川省电力行业协会、青海理工大学(筹)、成都哲晟嘉科技发展有限公司、成都市概念验证中心(新型电力系统智能技术产业领域)等单位的大力协办。

This conference embraced a hybrid format combining both physical and virtual attendance, pooling over 120 scholars from around the world. Participants hailed from more than 100 domestic and international universities and research institutions, including but not limited to the University of Guelph, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, North China Electric Power University, Shandong University, Tianjin University, Chongqing University, Hunan University, Wuhan University, Shanghai University, South China University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Anhui University, Lanzhou University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, State Grid Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute, and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. Joining together, they engaged in discussions on pioneering technologies and innovative achievements.



The main venue of the conference was chaired by Professor Yaguang Heng from Xihua University. Distinguished speakers including Professor Shunli Wang from Southwest University of Science and Technology (serving as Executive Vice President of the Smart Energy Storage Institute, Academic Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at the Inner Mongolia University of Technology, and Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences), Professor Xianyi Yang from the University of Guelph, and Associate Professor Jiaxing Lu from Xihua University, delivered captivating keynote speeches. Their presentations garnered significant attention and ignited lively discussions among numerous experts and scholars, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of academic exchange on-site.

Aside from the previously mentioned keynote presentations, the two sessions in the afternoon, hosted by Professor Disheng Wang and Professor Jiaxing Lu of Southwest University, were equally engaging. These sessions showcased a total of 43 oral presentations spread across two concurrent tracks. Speakers delved deeply into various research topics aligned with the conference theme, igniting fervent discussions and garnering commendation from attendees. As the conference drew to a close, the organizers honored and bestowed awards upon exceptional papers, presentations, and poster displays, acknowledging the contributions of the deserving winners.



To this end, the International Conference on Energy, Power and Electrical Technology (ICEPET 2024) draws to a successful close.
